Appearance: At first glance, Giselle has the look of a princess pulled from her story book (mostly because that's exactly what she is). Her eyes are blue and sparkle like sapphires, always accompanied by a shining white smile. Her hair is long and red, sometimes curled and kept in an up-do or left straight and hanging down her back. She is slim and slender, though her dresses sometimes shield that fact. One of them, the one she is first met in, is a large white wedding dress, pouffy in nature, decorated in elaborate beading. The material its made of appears to be silk, and is very fragile. However, because the dress is so pouffy, its a chore to get through doorways.

Personality: A first glance at Giselle would sum up most of her personality. She almost always wears a stunned look or a smile of sorts, giving her a very naive air. Her disposition is very cheerful, and she is extremely optimistic, perhaps overly so. She believes there is good in everyone and that happiness can be found just about anywhere. She is an avid believer in things such as "true love's kiss" and "happily ever afters" and will likely do everything in her power to make sure everyone find's their own. There doesn't seem to be an evil bone in her body. However, if someone she loves is in danger, she'll do everything in her power to make sure they are rescued. She is very much a dreamer in her ways.

Abilities/Strengths: One of Giselle's most obvious strengths is her sweet and cheerful disposition. She will befriend even the most evil or ugly of people in hopes of making their lives a bit happier. She has a gift with sewing, cooking, and cleaning and is quick to do so for anyone who requires such services. In addition to all of that, Giselle loves to sing, and has a stunning voice to match. Giselle has a strong affinity with animals and often sings to summon them to her for assistance. This is probably her only "power", so to speak.

Weaknesses: Giselle's greatest weakness is her naivety. She is very easy to take advantage of because she is so willing to give herself up without thinking about the consequences. She also has a dreadful habit of falling off things, but usually, someone is there to catch her. Because she is only human, she has no powers to save her in a dire situation.

Notable Possessions: Giselle doesn't carry any notable possessions.

History: Giselle was orphaned at a very young age when her parents mysteriously died. She was left in a cottage in the woods of Andalasia and was raised there as a child under the typical family ideals of a fairy tale by woodland animals and dwarves, who found her there alone one day. Being an only child, she grew up without a care in the world, taking on activities such as cooking, sewing, and cleaning, though her favorite pasttime was singing She woke up from a dream one morning to discover that she had dreamt of her one true love and shared in true love's first kiss, which she describes as "the most powerful thing in the world". Hoping to marry and live happily ever after, she would build a model of her love with anything she could find, hoping her forest friends would be able to aide her in finding him.

Little did she know that her dream love was, in fact, Prince Edward, who rode through the woods at that very moment to claim her, attracted by her song. Prince Edward was, of course, heir to Andalasia, which was currently ruled by his evil mother, Queen Narissa, who had been trying to keep Edward from meeting any woman so that she would be able to keep her throne.. When he arrived at the scene, he found Giselle being pursued by a large troll and rescued her before she was able to be eaten. Their eyes met, and it was love at first sight. They would be married the next day.

Naturally, Narissa didn't take kindly to this. When Giselle arrived, she (disguised as an old woman) lured the naive woman to a "wishing well" and told her to make a wish. When Giselle closed her eyes to do so, Narissa shoved her into the well. When Giselle would come to, she'd find herself crawling out of a pothole in Manhattan. Naturally, it was very different than the forests she was used to, and stunned her quite a bit.

After wandering lost for quite some time, she was stumbled upon by an attorney named Robert and his daughter Morgan. Feeling pity for the girl, Robert invited her back to his home in order to offer her a bit of help finding her way home. He was skeptical of her ways and mannerisms, seeing as she had just popped fresh out of a fairy tale, and he was a man from the "real world". Giselle was unable to get in contact with Prince Edward, or anyone from her world, so she ended up staying with Robert and Morgan for quite some time.


After a day or so of this, just as Robert was beginning to grow used to Giselle, she was pulled from his side and planted in Econtra.
